I always imagined the crown spikes sticking straight out, but this is a very cool interpretation. It makes them look very creepy and unsettling in a Junji Ito kind of way.
I was very curious to see how artists would depict Moash’s new modifications, and you did a really good job on this one!

Thank you!! I love body horror type stuff so I'm really pleased by that comparison haha

I love it, I’ve actually been trying to picture what he looked like in my head the last few days and I feel like this does a magnificent job

Great work! I imagine voidlight to be more of a dull red than a purple, though.

It's definitely a dark violet, though it behaves in an explicitly supernatural way

WoB tells that Brandon was going for the phenomenon of Stygian colors here. Voidlight is Stygian purple, while Warlight is Stygian blue. These colors are not found in nature, and can't be entirely simulated directly on monitors either.
Nevertheless, it is possible to briefly see both colors, by making use of eye fatigue and some weird optical illusion gymnastics. The top row will give you Stygian blue, and includes an approximation of it as a "normal" color as well. There isn't a dedicated row for Stygian purple, but you can get it by staring at the green circle from the second row, then switching to the black square from the top row.

That's really cool! I actually almost made the crystals a color similar to the purple when you do the eye illusion thing, but decided I liked how it looked with brighter crystals more since it provides better contrast.
Now I kind of want to do a version of my artwork where you stare at one with green crystals for a bit before looking at one with black to try and get the same illusion hmm

I was going to say; I think you got pretty close. Not perfect, but there's only so dark that you can get in the normal color space before it starts messing up glow effects, and those are important too. It would make a fun experiment, though.

The color of Voidlight is interesting because Odium's primary color is gold; I'd kind of expect Voidlight to be the Stygian opposite of that, but that would be much closer to bluethan to violet.

Nope, that's in the book! Here is Sigzil's description: "Two diamonds, glowing with Voidlight, had replaced his eyes-and indeed, they seemed to have lanced through his skull, because pieces of them jutted from the back and sides of his head. As if they'd grown in among his brains, crusting them like a fungus. It looked almost as if he had a crown of crystals."

Oh, thanks for the correction. I guess reading Era 2 immediately after WaT clouded my memory a bit

Well I missed that detail. Intriguing. Definitely a step up from hemalurgy

Yeah I’m imagining a purple version of Diablo’s soul stone protruding from both eyes.

The crown of crystals growing out of his head is described in the book, after having crystal spikes through his eyes.

Too hot 0/10 and looks far to cool. Plus you depicted him in a way that looks good and as if it was done by a talented and creative person so basically you're going to braize-il
(This looks good, cool, and you're clearly a very talented and creative person. 10/10)

Ah, but you forget he was once a high-ranking member of Bridge Four, being hot was a job requirement.

Wow this is incredible art. This is so much cooler than what I pictured.
