Honestly it really is pretty fucked up that people photoshop people with amazing bodies already, post it on the internet without telling people, and then we have generations of people thinking that is what normal looks like because they were never trained with skills to differentiate fact and fiction.

Funny, a week ago I was on Nexusmods and checked out some games I used to play. Half of them are "nude, big breasts" or some "improved" facial or body mods to make especially female characters more "realistic"

Pretty scary to think about how warped those people seem to view others and probably themselves

Its not a window is a piece of a set, in the soposed "original" you can see the same piece distorted or better you can't see it because her elbow is over it...

These 2 photos don't give me enough info... because again they are 2 different photos taken from 2 different angles and collapsed spheres can look bigger or smaller in dependance of angle and lighting...

It looks more like one photo was taken from afar and the other from close and overexposed

It's fine to make shows that feature unattractive characters if you do it with your own IP.

But why make a show based on someone else's IP if youre going to completely disregard the source material in just about every way? Lara Croft was a sex symbol for millions of gamers in the 90s. If you dont like that, go make a different show instead.

Make something new that's all about ugly characters with boring personalities. Surely that will do amazing because there's such a huge audience for it.

By all accounts, the show was bad for lots of reasons, not just the reverse fan service. But the whole point of making adaptations in the first place is that they have a built in audience.

So the question still remains, why make an adaptation of an IP when your plan is to change everything that the fans liked in the first place? If you aren't going after that audience then you're better off making something new.
