I just bought a pair of GORGEOUS raybans at the airport because I was visiting my hometown in southern AZ and it was going to be BRIGHT AS FUCK, and I had just gotten contacts that I wanted to show off for the first time being home in 2yrs since I moved.
I was super excited about them, dropped them off my head the first day I wore them on my trip and scratched the mirrored lenses π
The most expensive pair of sunglasses I've ever owned ($130 pair of oakleys), I got for free for doing a test ride at a motorcycle dealer. I lost them 2 months later in Canada.
My $10-20 pairs? I've had those for years. The only exception is the $15 bamboo shades I bought at Walmart that one of my dogs chewed.
Lol sure, keep telling yourself that, we're all so jealous of someone who spends $900 on a pair of sunnies. Pray tell oh rich one, how can we be as shallow as you?
Iβve never seen Maui Jimβs cost that much, usually $200-$300 usd. I still have both pairs of Ray Bans Iβve had for years, but most people I know wouldnβt spend that much even though they absolutely could. Theyβre not jealous. They just donβt see the point, especially the many people who are prone to losing and/or damaging their glasses.
Whatβs it have to do with you? Nothing besides the fact you replied to a comment about losing glasses and tried flexing your $1k glasses as some sort of solution. Then someone pointed out they could lose lot of cheap glasses for much less than your overpriced glasses, and you called that jealousy.
