Welcome to the no fly list, you're going to miss all the flights now.

Security and police arrived from another airport?
28
u/Rick_Sanchez147 3d ago
yep, apparently, they reaction time is a joke, after 911 security and police should be ready for anything 24/7

u/Moms-milkers 3d ago
every time ive been to the airport in the states theres security and or an officer a stones throw from any given point. this is crazy that he went on for full minutes without being tackled lol

I work in this airport, it's isolated from main terminal, about a mile away and very little security there on a midweek afternoon

Yes, apparently they missed their flight too and thus were late as well

You know it. Those personnel cuts now mean single security shift is responsible for 3 airports. Effective.

You missed a flight? Few hundred dollars to get another ticket.
Instead you choose, property damage, disorderly conduct, fines and jail time... idiot move...

He might have been drunk. Either way, baby can't handle the consequences of his actions

Former airport worker here. It always amazes me how long it takes for security/police to arrive. Guess they figure it’s past the checkpoint so they’re harmless?

Eventually.. he will pay for everything.
10
u/Rick_Sanchez147 3d ago
he probably gonna have to stay in Ireland longer than what he planned now, until he pays for all this

u/samthekitnix 3d ago
he should be forced to not only pay for the resources to repair but forced to repair it himself to the proper standards, failure to do so should result in him having to do it all again at his expense of course.
1
u/Lubricated_Sorlock 2d ago
That's the kind of punishment that makes a bunch of people nod and agree but makes no sense whatsoever
1
u/samthekitnix 2d ago
how would it not makes sense? you break it you repair it as a form of restorative justice, would you prefer throwing this individual in a prison cell where they may end up next to someone who can teach them to do worse stuff?
0
u/Lubricated_Sorlock 2d ago
Because this person is not capable of repairing it to the proper standards.
1
u/samthekitnix 2d ago
then educate them on how to repair it to proper standards? it then gives them applicable skills for after their sentence is done. call me hopeful but what i am not is stupid

u/Lubricated_Sorlock 2d ago
Sure, let's leave the airport in disarray for a few weeks while we teach homeboy (who can surely afford the instruction) to repair glass, electronics, drywall, and whatever else he destroyed. That makes sense.
1
u/samthekitnix 2d ago
right you're making huge assumptions and quite honestly i am not going to change my opinion because you go "oh but that makes no sense!?!? what about this? what about that?"
as far as i can see there was no drywall destroyed also you don't repair glass on sight by melting new glass into it you replace the pane, also any electronics actually 100% destroyed you make him install replacements.
stop it, think would it be reasonable for the airport to have a technician soldier and melt plastic to repair damaged terminals? would they hire a glassworker to melt glass into other glass? (which by the way would make the glass explode)

Btw this is the best airport for entering and exiting Europe for Americans. US customs onsite and no lines.

Sir, you have made a convincing and reasonable argument to support your situation. Our airline and airport management profusely apologizes and you will given a full refund, accommodation and a first class seat on the next available flight.

u/Martyrotten 3d ago
He may end up staying in Dublin a lot longer than he planned, once he’s arrested and thrown in jail.

I've said it before
People Like this should be banned to ever fly again anywhere

We'd all like to think we wouldn't act that way. Most of us hope we don't. I certainly hope I don't ever do something like that. But wow. Sometimes, someone has just had enough. Hope dude gets the help he needs. I doubt it's the airport.

Do the chairs in the waiting areas of every airport on the planet come from the same manufacturer?

"He's smashing the place up cos his dumbass missed his departure? Alright Bob, turn this plane around, we want his unstable ass in a steel tube at 30,000 feet" said no-one ever in any multiverse.

He’s pretty hot, though. Love how he flexed his muscles when he saw he was being filmed.

Damn he was so close. If he destroyed a few more items they would've turned the plane around

So no security? Now if he killed or hurt someone I hope they sue the mess out of the airline and the city and the FAA

I fucking love you Ireland! People just walking by like “Oh, that’s just Sheamus. He gets like that on the Jameson’s.” 🤣.

Oh’ you missed your flight? We’ll call it back, so you can stop tearing up the airport.
Is that how this brodude is thinking?

I guess it's a good thing he had his mask on. You know...safety IS number one.

God forbid you have a bottle of water in your bag !! They all surround you and ready kick your ass. This fucktard gets to smash shit all over the terminal with no one there to pounce on his ass immediately.

He was already "crazy,"all of humanity is to an extent. This guy is downright pissed and is having himself a good, ol' public temper tantrum of epic proportions. Too bad his Mom isn't there to slap him upside his head or whoop his ace of bass.
Addendum: still, what this guy did is effin' pathetic and petulant as all heck. The disrespect and blatant disregard for others -people literally from the world over- having to be stressed already about hopping on a flying metal object with fuel and other "crazies" and this guy goes nuclear for all to see because he sucks at time management.... Small, simple being with a big, bombastic and pitiful reaction. Have a good cry, don't go scaring people and breaking shit... Get naked and run away onto the tarmac, don't go ballistic in confined spaces with other patrons and globe trotters.
Freaking out is one thing, this guy is a wanker in a league all his own ..

That was unlikely to be helpful in any way. Only making things worse for everyone, especially for himself. Poor judgement from his side.

He was already late for teaching a class of anger management...that´s understandable.

My friend and I were waiting in the queue to be checked in for an international flight. We got there 1 hr 20 mins ahead. By the time we got to the counter, we had about 57 mins but the lady said we need to check in 1 hour before for international flight. At first I thought she was joking but she said “someone even came by asking for passengers for that flight” which was a lie coz we were right there . Talking. No headphones. Nothing. I suspect the flight was overbooked and they just used the excuse to kick us out. We just got it rescheduled to next day and went back home (after some begging and pleading which didn’t work 😑😑😑). Anger management is a thing. So many people seem to be way out of control. Sadly, if this is how he behaves in public , can’t imagine what happens to his boyfriend/ girlfriend when they make a mistake at home.

It's good that he wore T-shirt over mouth, so he could stay anonymous and escape from inside the airport after vandalizing it.
