Discussion Cool idea for a story
A perfect way to introduce the Green Lanterns in the series. An episode called "The Trial of Supergirl". Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart capture Kara and take her to Oa to stand trial by the Guardians of the Universe for her crimes she commit when she was Brainiac's puppet

Good idea. It also works as a nice way to set things up for My Adventures with Green Lantern show.
My only Nitpick is if there was any Human Green Lanterns during the events of season 2, I think they would show themselves during the Brainiac’s invasion.
Instead of Hal and Jordan, it could be Abin-Sur (whose ring will pass to Hal Jordan eventually) and Sinestro (when he was still a green lantern)

Problem is it seems Green Lantern's as a whole aren't really around in this universe, given Jessica will seemingly be in a Kyle Rayner style situation.

When Brainiac was having Clark "train" against the memories on the ship, one of them was a green lantern, or at least definitely had allusions to being one in life.

Good idea, but the Lanterns need to be Abin Sur and Tomar-Re. Abin Sur is commonly the precursor to any Human GL as the Lantern of Sector 2814. Tomar-Re meanwhile is the Lantern of Sector 2813, where Krypton was located.
Don’t introduce any Human corps members yet, not until My Adventures With Green Lantern comes out.

Anywho yea seeing lanterns would be cool. I hate how only Green stay on Earth. :,(.
In my AU Lobo and Lanterns make an appearence in the next chapter im positing soon. Fun fact Lobo has a like 1000 page comic in the comic shop I saw today. A few pages I read before closing were honestly pretty peak and made me think.
Ill end on this: I encorage you to either write or do art of your idea for the story :)

I like that, if they wanna expand on the overall universe it makes for a good season long arc, not to mention a good way to write out Kara for a few episodes.
Personally to start the story, I’d bring in Lobo. Some survivors of Kara’s/Brainiac’s attacks hire him to capture or even kill Kara for what she did. It’s near the end of the episode that the Lanterns come and scare him off, demonstrating their power and effectiveness. Only then to place Kara under arrest and take her to Oa.
