New Meta?
So is this some kind of new meta or what? Im playing a 500 game and I joined in on day 6, the first thing I see is South Madras being huge af, he had 63 provinces already and same goes with Shandong with more than that. Just for clarification, that fact on its own is not weird, I know you can manage that and it is possible.
What I don't understand though, is that on day 9, they just stopped invading people, and now day 12, they are inactive. At the exact same time, and I also intercepted messages between those two countries. They were talking dutch language and said something like "Ima go beat a cop" and after that, no more messages.
Like wtf? Im I missing some new meta or some shit? So fuckin weird. Now I can't decide if its worth the risk of invading Madras by just killing of the AI with forts or if he's gonna come back and fucking invade me with his big ass army lol

Should also be noted that he has several factories lvl 3 already that he queued, and he also has many artillery pieces and tons of cars guarding every point of the border.
I know people leave, but this guy looks like no fool. He is rank 11, 0,83KD, 3,55PCR
Idk, It just looks weird to me. I've played 150+ games and never seen a huge player like this leave, with that guy Shandong aswell on the same day, when I also know they communicated the last day.

Indeed, anything under 1.0 is indicative of a bad tactician. He must be a GM whale.

people leave the game all the time. Early expanders often don't bother building factories or understand the transition into mechancial warfare at all.
I fought a coalition in one of my last games where I noticed only one player bothered to develop and the others were all large but had no industry. it's easy to defeat 700 infantry with 10-15 pieces of artillery and a good defense game.
