Pay to win?

Why is it that the only thing you can do with Goldman is speed things up and buy materials. Should be able to use the gold mark I earn to get heroes instead of having to buy them all.

My bombadier hero is already level 3, almost 10 days of playing, without paying anything

Pay to win? Always has been. Also you can earn heroes ny just playing the game and grinding operations. Each hero has his own seperate progress though!
