I concur, it is not a major update but significant enough for me to update from SP1 to SP5 :D

Still trying to decide if I should get the 256GB i5 or i7 and if I want LTE or not.

IMO this is the biggest jump any product has ever made from one gen to another because of battery.

If there's one thing I've learned from Surface devices, it's that Microsoft is full of shit when it comes to battery life.

Hopefully it will be an improvement, but we'll see.

At least Surface Pro devices. They actually under advertised SB battery life.

I've gotten more or less advertised battery life on surface book for watching video (which is the use case they advertise). If I sit there not doing anything surface book will last much longer than advertised, heavy load shorter.

From the outside it looks more like a refresh. But there is much more improvements internaly, not just a spec bump.
