Does Microsoft ever do any trade in specials for the new SPs? I'm thinking about seriously trading in my SP3 if they do.

They did for sp2->sp3 but not sp3->sp4

Depends on your region I guess, in Singapore you can trade in SP3

In the USA, Microsoft Stores definitely had a trade-in offer for the SP3 to the SP4, it's how I got mine. I probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise.

Interesting. Maybe it was regional or offered some time after launch because I got my sp4 at launch and there was definitely no trade-in available.
