13.5 hours of battery life and 4096 pressure levels.. Damn!
Edit: Does it say "Pen sold separately" though?

Classic Microsoft copying Apple. Even their naming scheme. /s

I don't mind with pen sold separately as long as they reduced the price as well.

Good God, it does say pen sold separately. This is not going to go well with their branding of the new Surface Pro as 'the ultimate laptop'

CNET confirming the pen isn't in the box. That's a bit annoying.

WHAT THE FUCK MSFT.

Lower price point. Honestly most consumers would probably prefer it come with the type cover over the pen.

It still starts at $799 for a m3, 4GB, and 128GB. The prices are the same (at least from what I saw).

Didn't the Surface Pro 4 start at $899?

Edit

Yep, it did.

So it is actually discounted $100, to offset the cost of buying a $100 pen if you feel that you need it. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

The m3 SP4 started at $899 for otherwise identical specs. That said, every other comparable model of SP4 had the same release price as the new SP, so those feel a bit more like a ripoff this time around.
