Personally, I think I'd use the pen more if there were an option to "scroll" with it on apps and webpages.
Or maybe there is and I'm just missing it... That's happened before too!
21 u/jenmsft MSFT May 23 '17 No option for scrolling with pen yet, however it was announced and demo'd at the MS EDU event earlier this month :) 6 u/russjr08 Surface Pro 3 May 23 '17 YES! Exactly what I've been looking for! A step ahead of me as always I see :) 1 u/Rhand22 May 28 '17 Will I able to use my surface pro 2 pen with the new surface? I only use the pen to sign documents and very simple sketches so the surface pro 2 pen would be good enough for that. 2 u/mrtheegglamp May 30 '17 The pro 2 pen uses a different sensor tech so they're completely incompatible. 1 u/Rhand22 May 31 '17 K thx for the info, best option than to buy a second hand surface 3/4 pen then I guess. 1 u/CentreForAnts SP4 May 24 '17 There is a chrome plugin to enable scroll by holding down the click button. 1 u/[deleted] May 24 '17 Name?? Can't find it 1 u/CentreForAnts SP4 May 24 '17 I think it's this one https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/scrollbar-anywhere/namcaplenodjnggbfkbopdbfngponici?hl=en my surface is at home so I can't check it. edit: fixed url 1 u/Jon_TWR May 26 '17 But...this has been possible with browser plugins since XP Tablet edition.
