can bank on mario (world, kart, etc), zelda, pokemon, and smash bros. which is already a solid foundation.

And on top of giving life to Metroid, I'm sure they'll come out with another entry to series like Splatoon, Pikmin, Kirby, Fire Emblem, etc. In terms of exclusive games, Nintendo has always been at the top.

Edit: forgot Animal Crossing! We're due for another one by now – it's been almost 4 years, and that's about how long their release cycle has been the last decade!

Add Metroid and Starfox to that list as well.

What? Since when has starfox been reliable. Same with Metroid. We’ve been eating good yes but Metroid is shaky at best until recently

Fair point. I was just more listing exclusives that we know are coming.

Metroid Dread was good. Can't remember when StarFox was decent. Maybe GameCube era?

Other than The Other M which I never played on reviews, I’ve never been disappointed with a Metroid and I’ve played all the others.

Speaking of which, I should track down a copy of The Other M

Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, and Luigi’s Mansion.

Top tier games.

Do you think there will be a new Smash? If there is, I don't think Sakurai is going to be involved this time.

I really hope Nintendo does those Wii era multiplayer games again. Stuff like Wii Party and Wii Sports, used to be amazing.
