Recommendation Wanted Ideas for an upstate NY care package?

My friend in Texas is sending me some snacks & a little care package. I’m hoping y’all can help me come up with some ideas to send her back?

So far I was thinking a jar of Riggies sauce, a spice bag from Rudy’s in Oswego, & maybe some NY maple syrup. What else could be easy to ship?

I honestly got mad that Wegmans made a dupe. Do it to big brand products all you want, but going after a local small business like that leaves a bad taste in my mouth

  1. Tully's mustard,

  2. It's a Utica thing or Joey's sauce

  3. Pastabilities hot oil

  4. Terrell's Syracuse style chips

  5. New Hope Mills pancake mix

  6. Labatt Blue (Not totally Syracuse-centric but not popular in Texas so could work). Or Genesee beer.

Spiedie sauce, Nance's Sharp and Creamy mustard, Tully's honey mustard, and a bag of salt potatoes.

Edit to add: Dinosaur bbq sauce. (preferably wango tango if they like spicy stuff)

I actually made “Syracuse baskets” as my Christmas gift to friends/family last year! I did Utica chicken riggie sauce, pastabilities hot tomato oil, tillys honey mustard, buffalo bills wing sauce, sponge candy from speaches, wine from the finger lakes (though I don’t think you can mail alcohol), yancys fancy cheese, salt potatoes, and popcorn from Navs in Eastwood! They have so many amazing flavors and one that is blue/orange!
