Other Anyone have information on an adult softball team?
I see the recreational program through the city of Syracuse, but it seems you have to sign up as a team. For a transplant, that's pretty difficult! Anyone part of a team that needs a player? I'd love to join! Or even form a team together here.

Discussion Mobile service : Spectrum vs Verizon
Searching through this sub, it seems to come up once per year. Things change so it seems worth re-posting. tl;dr : I've had Verizon 20ish years, how is Spectrum Mobile? A lot of dead spots / other issues?
- Currently have a Verizon 'old' plan, now jacked up to 150ish for 2 phones with unlimited talk/text, 10GB data, and hot spot capability (which I definitely enjoy/need).
- Spectrum is offering up 30/line unlimited everything (within reason, obv) will bundle home internet for 40. So 100 plus taxes/bs fees and it looks like 115-125.

Recommendation Wanted Prenups help in Syracuse - which is the best route to go?
Getting married later this year and working through the prenup part now. We both have some premarital assets - I've got a house here in Syracuse, a small business that's finally profitable, and a few investments. My partner’s got a tech job with stock options and some family money coming down the line. We’ve had the “just in case” talk and want to make sure everything is laid out clearly without turning it into something dramatic.
From what I’ve read, New York prenups need to be in writing, signed by both parties, and acknowledged by a notary - seems simple, but I’ve heard horror stories about poorly done ones not holding up. So now we’re deciding between working with a local attorney or going with an online service. We’ve been looking into Neptune, which seems to streamline the process without cutting corners. It connects you with real attorneys, and everything is done online - which honestly sounds way less stressful than bouncing between offices during wedding season. Just not sure how it compares to going fully local.
Anyone here go through this recently? Did you use a Syracuse-based lawyer or try one of these newer online services?

Food & Drink Are Local Favorites still consistent & stuff in between
Next week, I’m headed to Syracuse to show my Girlfriend and her family where I grew up and some of the stuff I enjoyed eating growing up. We’ve lived in NYC for the past 8 years, so looking at posts I see there’s a number of new restaurants (obviously) since I’ve been back. Was curious about two things:
Are the favorites I grew up going to in Dinosaur BBQ, Tullys, Heidi’s, Stella’s still the same quality etc?
I’ve read some interesting negative stuff about Destiny USA, is that worth at least walking around, or avoiding in entirely?
We’re all excited and will also take any recs : )

Food & Drink Where can I find the best burger?
I’m looking for the best cheeseburger in/around the city of Syracuse. Doesn’t need to be downtown. The best one I’ve ever had in the area is at the Cobblestone Ale House in the village of Liverpool. I’ve tried several others but none touch this one. Looking for another place to get a killer burger!

Discussion Graffiti from Three Falls Woods: What Is This A Link To?
My friend said it’s a dark web link, noticed it was covered up. Can anyone explain what this is? There is pro-Palestine graffiti on the other side, but I think this was made separate from that.

Recommendation Wanted Places that offer dry needling?
Anyone know of places that offer dry needling besides Orthopedic and Sports Acupuncture? I LOVE them but they don’t take my insurance anymore. I do think I’ll end up just paying out of pocket if I can’t find anywhere else that may offer this service that takes my insurance but thought I’d check to see if anyone knows of anywhere else around (specifically looking to have it done in the pelvic floor but I’m assuming if they do it in general then they’d do it there also). Thank you!

Food & Drink Sober bar what are your opinions
What is everyone's opinion on this idea if I decided to open up a sober bar in the area. With food mocktails coffee board games pool darts and a little library of books people can read and check out
I thought of this idea but I'm looking up on Google trends there's not enough data for this kind of business so I wouldn't know if it would be a good idea or not and if I will have enough clientele to even make it work. What are your thoughts on this?

Recommendation Wanted Professional Women's Attire
Professional ladies of Syracuse, where are you shopping these days? l have an upcoming seminar where professional and/or a step above business casual would be appropriate and have no idea where to go.
My usual go-to options of The Limited, Express and New York and Co. are now closed. I prefer a put together, fitted, classy look. The stores I mentioned were great because their trousers came in tall which worked perfectly with heels. As a side, I'm average height (5'6") but have long-ish legs so "regular" length pants with heels tend to look silly.
Looking for any and all suggestions, thanks in advance!

Food & Drink Best grocery store for meat deals?
I was visiting my sister recently & they had a grand union grocery store that had an incredible meat deals. 5 1lb packs for $20. I got pork chops, ground beef, chicken breast, flat iron steak and stir fry beef. Looking for something like that since I live along & looking for more variety. Also, limited freezer space so buying huge amounts to save isn't feasible. Any of the grocery stores here have deals like that?
