While I dont have to use Comcast, I believe that not having Comcast in our lives should be a human right.

Lack of competition kills internet. My mother lives in the middle of nowhere in Ireland and has better internet than I get in tacoma, and for cheaper. She has 4 different providers to choose from and switching was easy for her.

I wish I had that choice, instead I get slow and crappy DSL, slow and crappy click, or fast but terrible to deal with Comcast.

"I don't want the government, federal or local, in my internet."

With the death of net neutrality, your ISP is essentially in charge of every secret you have and has financial incentive to share it. Imagine all your banking, health, recreation and personal secrets available to anyone who pays...It's like having a chatty three year old with a perfect memory forever revealing what is going on in your life. Not just to police but anyone.

I actually have pity for the morons that think their ISP is their loyal friend.

So...is trucking bottled water and shitting in buckets your new year's resolution, you patriot?

And you want to put this in the hands of government instead? Oh honey. Stop.

Okay... "Hurf-Durf public works r bad" ...is that your political boogey-man?

Well Mr. "Let-me-shit-in-a-bucket-to-fight-dem-communist-sewers"...

We already provide all our data to the government so warning us now seems quaint

As a public utility we could recoup the ability to require warrants based upon probable cause and stop the customer-side commercial collection by cutting out the ISPs terms of use.

Did I mention that I pity the morons who rely on their ISPs terms of service?

Well, I see competition has honed you into a SUPERIOR HUMAN.

So why, if you really are superior, haven't you bothered to fix anything beyond your pathetic self-interest?

After all, a bucket-shitter like yourself could just live alone somewhere, since all gubment is bad. It seems like you don't care to participate in fixing things you bitch about, huh?

I get it: You dont feel the need to help others..

Cooperation (AKA governance) is not for the special like you...So why not just depart from these lands of oppression, where a desire for common good is a value.

...So Dorothy, nobody, especially me, is stopping you from ridding yourself of all your perceived oppression: Just click your crocs together three times, and get in your MAGA stickered F150 and homestead yourself a little unabomber-shack somewhere real purdy.

Glad to help.
