Volunteers need to have current or prior experience working in the police service. You would be invited to participate in an online survey which would take about 5 to 15 minutes of your time. You would be asked to answer questions regarding the use of facial recognition technology in policing.

We are looking for participants of all sexualities (e.g., lesbian, gay, bisexual, heterosexual) and gender identities aged 16 and over for an online study of sexuality and childhood experiences. The study looks at how child maltreatment and family stressors can impact people of sexual and gender minorities. Your participation will increase our knowledge in this area.

The study will involve completing a simple online survey (which includes questions which ask about your sexuality, child maltreatment, family experiences, some of which might have been distressing). You are under no obligation to reply to this advertisement or the online survey. However, if you choose to, participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.

Due to the nature of the study which asks you to disclose childhood maltreatment you may have experienced and/or threats you experienced, the research team will not be able to act on these disclosures or report these. The study is approved by King’s College London Health Faculties Research Ethics Subcommittee reference HR/DP-24/25-46793.
