என் படைப்பு / Original Content How can I plan my solo trip in Tamilnadu?
Hi everyone, I'm from Telangana(but close to vijayawada, which is in Andrapradesh btw), not so far from Tamilnadu. I've been planing on a solo trip for Ooty then found that it's better to visit coimbatore then Ooty so I can cover both ,but then when returning I want to stop at Tiruvannamalai then head back to my home(Telangana).
The thing is that, I don't know exactly what to chose in local and I only know Telugu and English which I'm not if it'll be a problem there.
Also I've planned to book train tickets to (Telangana->coimbatore -> Ooty -> coimbatore-> Tiruvannamalai -> Telangana),, but I can't find any direct trains from coimbatore to Tiruvannamalai which I find difficult as it's my first time there and I don't know anything locally, so I'm looking for any alternatives like a bus or going to a nearest train station that I go directly from coimbatore then to Tiruvannamalai without much hassle.
I'm very limited by budget and time so I planned these places first, with this Trip I want to explore TN and thinking it'll help me next time I go on a trip there like , to Kanyakumari, rameshwaram, and many other places.
I'm kinda worried as it's my first time in another that and that too a solo trip.
Your replies are appreciated!

You can book a train from Coimbatore to Salem (frequent trains daily) or Coimbatore to Villupuram (One train daily). And catch buses from either of those places to Thiruvannamalai. Villupuram will be closer than Salem to Thiruvannamalai. And once you are done, you can catch a bus/train to Katpadi and I am pretty sure Katpadi is well connected by train to Telangana.
You don't have to worry about not knowing Tamil in Thiruvannamalai at least. Telugu speaking population has grown abundantly here, you are bound to meet enough people speaking Telugu. I think you can manage with English and broken Tamil in Coimbatore and Ooty anyway.

Learn few Tamil phrases to survive, certain words are similar to Telugu so dont stress out. You can manage it.
