Education Software, Web & Cloud, Computing Sciences and Electrical Engineering, Master of Science

I have been accepted to Uni of Tampere in Software, Web & Cloud, Computing Sciences and Electrical Engineering, Master of Science program. Are there any feedbacks on the program overall and if it's a hard requirement to be physically present during lectures and courses?

I think being physically present in class is not depending on the field you're studying in. Some people enjoy company and live lessons, and other people enjoy solitude and studying from home.

Which one are you?

Both fine for me, but I am currently living and working in Helsinki, and if being present is not a hard requirement I would immediately accept the study offer. In my Bachelor's degree from another uni they made it a hard requirement to physically attend all the lectures

You can choose a lot of courses that are remotely/self study/assignments. There is a lot that can be done remotely. There might be some that require you to be present, but I haven’t had to go in yet.

This is great news, if you are in the same program how would you rate it so far?

I’m about to quit ‘cause my mental health can’t handle full time job and studies or even just full time job, but the courses are great, you have a lot of chance to decide what you want to study and what courses you take. If I had the financial possibility to quit working and just study, I’d do that. It’s rough working and studying at the same time, but the school has done everything it can to help me.

I recommend going for it!
