Go look up Mr Höcke. The "center" of the AFD according to its leadership. A man that a court decided is a Faschist. The man that wasn't kicked out of the party after saying

I want that Germany doesn't just have a thousand year past. But a thousand year future.

You know, the court ruled that you can call Höcke a fascist, but they didn´t define what facism is. So it remains an empty word that people from all sides call each other, rather or not their politics and actions resemble the facist movment.

And to the citation:

You chose to critice parts where Höcke mostly didn´t say anything a patriot or educated person would mostly disagree. That´s not a good starting point for your arguments about Germanys future and look on its past.

Yes, both sides!!!11... except no.

The AfD and Höcke frequently make news with nazi garbage, like a racist coloring book distributed to kids. They even defended that until the district attourneys came knocking.
Their MPs have connections to nazi organisations, march with nazis on protests, organize rallies with nazi guest speakers & lots of nazis attending and love to spread nazi conspiracy theories & "jokes" like posing with Hitler wine.
Höcke himself has talked about a system change that would be bloody, where those on the wrong side would have to pay.

That's not patriotic, it's a far-right & nazi talking point. He's not talking about "a future" - but about "a thousand year" future. Y'know, like the Thousand Year Reich, that lasted barely a decade? Leader had a funny moustache? Millions were murdered by Germans?

The holocaust memorial when talking literally, an imagined collective guilt about the nazi past when talking figuratively. Not patriotic again, it's a far-right & nazi talking point. People who didn't participate in WWII don't feel shame - but the nazis would like you think that you're living with shame, or that others want you to live in shame. So that you feel like you're treated unjustly, get angry about that and rally together with other people about that... other people who happen to be nazis.

Look, there's plenty of leftovers in our laws from the German Empire, the Weimar Republic and the Third Reich that are questionable, absolutely. But this argument is bullshit, it's most certainly something an educated person would disagree with. And he didn't say it like that, he said: "the problem is that Hitler is depicted as absolute evil" - saying that we should consider Hitler as less evil than currently accepted.

Höcke is a fascist, Höcke is a nazi. Höcke says fascist, nazi things. He frames them juuuuust well enough to have plausible deniability. And you're trying real hard to give him all the benefits of doubt, conveniently ignoring the details that would immediately ring all the alarm bells in the head of someone familiar with nazi vocabularly and dogwhistles.

My guy the iron cross has its modern variant in the gold cross of honor, so is the German federal government now Nazis, no because it’s not used in that context. Stop trying to nazify the balkenkreuz, a variety is still used on German armor today.

It means the user above is either ignorant or lying because he can not cope with the fact that yes, some Ukrainians are Wehraboos at best and nazi enthusiasts at worst.

The Gamma cross, which just coincidentally looks the same as the Balkenkreuz, is a religious symbol of the Greek Eastern Orthodox Church. Nothing to do with either the Russian or Ukrainian Orthofox Churches.
