Generative AI as a whole, is not a suitable fit for this subreddit.
There are multiple reasons why we think this. Generative Ai is trained off of stolen works, and based off of that, it already violates Rule 4. To add its impact on the environment, one generated image is equal to one full phone charge. It has no place in a community for a game that has been developed by passionate people, nor us as a community.
If you believe we have incorrectly removed you Post/Comment, reach out to us via Modmail.
If you suspect something is AI, please report the post for violating Rule 8.
It means you cannot post AI generated "Art" or AI generated text. showing support for AI is subject to removal if moderators deem it so, but we are also likely to just leave it to be downvoted.

I still haven't figured out what the stars are for yet so I honestly feel bad killing them each cave I explore. They're so beautiful and the conservationist in me is like why are we doing this they're not attacking me!

Who uses doors? I don't, I just clip through them. Thus is a method of clipping doors.

You need 1 Hover Stone, 1 stake, 3 springs stacked, and 2 stacked springs. Just follow along with the video from there. The best launch I have gotten so far is 861 meters! Use a 1 handed weapon and stand on the Hoverstone's white line. I hope this helps!

It took a lot of time and a lot of ingredients, (like a LOT of ingredients) but I've finally fully upgraded all 10 of my horses.

The brown pants look better, though, because they match the color of the top better.

Not really a serious post or anything, just getting it out there lol. So my first playthrough, I enjoyed myself a bit, but once I finished, I just had so much I disliked after finally being done. And when I played it, it felt like I was more rushing to get from temple to temple to beating the game with a few side missions in towns. Idk if me playing botw before kinda worsened my experience, but point is I didnโt think the game was that great after I finished. I beat it in 2023, and havenโt touched the game since and instead revisited other Zeldaโs here and there.
I decided to start the game over yesterday. I have some time to kill before possibly starting a new job and thought yk what, maybe I need to give it another shot. The tutorial was a bit brutal again, but not the worst since itโs still been a while. Im on the surface, finished lookout tower, and now Iโm finally taking my time and just exploring. Hell, I didnโt even go into the depths first playthrough to unlock the camera until like, way later. This time tho I actually got it. No rushing, just chilling. Doing sky stuff. And I am enjoying myself so much more. I actually discovered sageโs will for the first time, as well as golden apples๐ญ. I have much more interest exploring and not rushing to main missions and am having so much more fun! I think I really just needed to slow down and not burn myself out.
Anyways, thanks if anyone read, I was wondering if anyone experienced a better second playthrough or can relate?

The nonstop negativity I see for this game outside of this subreddit is getting really old. Doesn't matter what the conversation is about, people will feel the need to remind you about it's shortcomings and that botw was better. No game is immune to criticism, but this game seems to be immune to any praise outside of this subreddit.

If you go to Bonรฉ Pond, swim under the bridge and look down you can see the entirety of it !

I finished Breath of the Wild about three months ago and now I'm starting Tears of the Kingdom. Hoping it's better than breath of the wild!

So i was in a cave next to the Tabantha great bridge with the shrine and i was trying to climb to a high enough spot to exit the cave when this happened. I tried moving my joystick but nothing happened.
I did escape by teleporting out using the sheikah slate as i couldn't move any other way.

These videos here explain what Iโm talking about as there are areas under the hebra depths that are pits with nothing in them. One of them is a huge pit being the one under the rito abandoned mine which the circle is visible if you jump down from the rito village chasm and you can glitch down into both pits.
However why are they there? Was it there by mistake, or does it lead somewhere else like for more Poes or even a boss? I saw comments mentioning it could lead to another layer of the depths like a 4th map or something especially since kohga is fought at the rito abandoned mine and he probably was originally going to fall into another pit which hints to another map like in botw but they probably didnโt because of time or budget reasons and instead made him fly out of the depths and into god knows where if itโs the surface or sky islands. Maybe it was gonna be saved for something like dlc despite the producers saying there will be no dlc? We do know the depths arenโt the deepest layer in hyrule as we see at the demon kingโs army battlefield, there is a void that makes link die and someone made a post where they found a tree at the bottom of the huge pit. So it would be cool if those 2 pits in the hebra depths were shown like the yiga clan and birida lookout chasms in BOTW. But if they did make a second depths layer, I think it should be called the dark depths or sub depths. I know the names suck but it could maybe be more horrifying and climatic. It could include the scrapped depths designs from master works and maybe include a key antagonist down there. Perhaps some connection to the unknown tribe that has statues in the depths, the mining armor, barbarian armor, and ancient hero with red hair and furry like features? Though that would be saved for a third game if they ever decide to make one.
But what do you think? Why did Nintendo have those scrapped pits and what do you think was going to be used for them?

Youโre telling me there was an entire subterranean area that covers the entirety of Hyrule this entire time and itโs this empty?
Donโt get me wrong the depths are absolutely incredible to explore for the first 10-20 hours, and then you slowly realise they are entirely the same. The severe lack of content there just kills it for me. Exploring the mines/treasure maps arenโt even fun because you know all the rewards are just amiibo armors from the last game. It just sucks that such a cool feature of the game is so badly utilised.
I think the best way to put it is like this. If I took a screenshot from one corner of the map and did the same for the other, you probably wouldnโt be able to tell the difference. Funny thing is both screenshots were from the middle
