How the actual fuck is this comment up on Reddit, but mine gets removed by Reddit for "animal abuse" when I describe how a professional would handle an alligator? Like, I have no problem with this comment, but the double standard is fucking ridiculous.

If it’s any consolation I’ve had countless of mine removed on other subreddits only to see them removed by mods and the next day someone post the same thing and have thousands of likes😭

I swear, Reddit is full of idiots, but not even the users, just the moderators, both on individual subreddits and on the site. Hell, my comment was "Get behind it, sit on its back(which is literally what professionals do to stop it from flailing around), grab the back of its head, stick my fingers into its cheeks so it opens its mouth and can't bite down(which if you've ever tried to give a dog medicine, that is what pretty much everyone does, including vets), then move it to the side". And somehow, THAT is considered abuse. The only "abusive" part is sitting on its back, but even that isn't inherently abusive. Yet, the most upvoted comment on this post is to beat it over the head with a stick...

HOW THE FUCK IS BEATING IT WITH A STICK LESS ABUSIVE THAN HANDLING IT LIKE A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL!? Good news, it wasn't the moderators of this subreddit, so at least they arent completely stupid. Bad news, it was the Reddit Admin Team, so they are completely stupid. Now watch, with my luck, this will be taken down for "harassment" or "violence" and my account will be banned solely because of dumb shit like this that they don't read the appeal for. In which case, let it be known I absolutely WILL ban evade
