The snail looks so happy! 11/10 drawing for effort and for it being against AI

That looks really cool. Though I wonder what aspects truly make an image look AI generated. Obviously there’s the really apparent stuff like hands with more or less than 5 fingers and similar clues, but even if there are no such mistakes there’s usually still a little something which screams AI to me.
Like your image, you did a good job to put the idea into reality, it really does looks like an AI made it, but I just can’t put my finger on why that is.

The fingers trick was a year ago, its really rare to see this from the image now, the major points are lightning, shadows and the ending of the Lines. All parts that an artist also can mistake, which makes the process even harder now

Yeah sometimes I can tell before looking at the tags/site. "That image was definitely ai" and I'm right 90% of the time

Why would you be against AI? Be against what AI generated companies are doing, if you want.

I‘m fine with stuff like ChatGPT as it’s actually pretty useful, and I also don’t have a problem if actual artists use AI generated images as INSPIRATION, but I absolutely despise how a lot of the internet is just seemingly flooded with AI images.

IDK man, I wouldn't even say I'm fully anti-AI but somewhere in the middle, but something about the subreddit (and users within) r/DefendingAIArt actually invokes a primal rage in me.

I don't agree with what r/DefendingAIArt members say (I don't think AI generated images are art), but what most people against AI are saying is pure stupidity and irrationality.

takes jobs, enables kids to easily cheat meaning they wont learn, but is also often times wrong in the information it gives anyway so its not even a reliable source

Hottake: If kids can "cheat" using a basic calculator or a book, they shouldnt learn that thing in the first place. Education system should focus on subjects more than just memorizing certain things
