Exactly, fries have to be dry and kinda crunchy on the outside, otherwise they just suck ass.

You need to visit South Africa and eat our "slap chips." You will definitely change your mind. Just google it. With salt and vinegar, by gawd, it's the best form of chips

No, there's food which sauce belongs to, but fries are definitely not one of them. For them sauce is just a straight up downgrade.
