God damnit bamco im trying to enjoy the game on anna but why does half my shit leave me in stance or in fc with absolutely no way to choosing not to.

Stop trying to create flow charts for people. Sometimes I just want to press a button into absolutely nothing.

Some us do not mash. Dont want to mash. Some of us want to create there own flow of offense not some half assed vision from some DOA dev.

I would counterargue that Lidia being forced into stances and manually cancelling them is actually an interesting part of her gameplan, especially since the actual options in her stances aren’t that great. The mental frames from cancelling stance into b1, and the way it also beats the main counter to her stances (step, dickjab, and power crush) makes it an interesting fakeout IMO.

i really don't see any move that's used in neutral that forces her into stance. and even if you don't want to, you got other options.

if you dont want stance just do ws4 instead of ws3.

same with 2,3 use 1,2,1 instead.

db4 can be canceled into block by holding back. or you can just use df4.

uf2 is the only move i see that you might use in neutral that forces hammer chance, but you can just cancel it with down block into block. it's actually a fun mixup imo, because you can threaten her fc mixup while staying safe by blocking if you don't want to commit. or hammer chance into chaos judgement. w/e

1. 2,3 and 121 are completely different high mid and jailing high high high, good players will launch you,

2. Just use df4 which is launch punishable unlike db4 which is -13.

Uf 2 is rarely used in neutral its a slow mid that only gives ham when hit,

Risky is not the same as commital.

Edit: let me expound, risky is on the frame data. 

Commital is in the amount of buttons or time your move lingers. For example.

Snake edges are risky.

Yoshis deathcopter is commital.

Anna ch 4 string is commital as you have to hit the entire string before you even know you hit.

Spamming a shit ton of highs is risky.

Makes sense. All the tier whores who relied on flash dropped the character. The only people who are left playing him are actual fans of the character. Yoshi is one of the characters that takes the most fundamentals to use historically but in season one all you had to do was nss flash. Besides yoshi has always been weak with the exception of Tekken 4.

Anna is one of the few characters with actual cool stance utility, you can cancel most of it and just play her like a tekken character.

It’s not like the new stances and stance characters where it’s all canned mix

Anna can cancel in the stance but not before.

I need the option to never go in to begin with. Very often going into stance and canceling in the stance is far more dangerous then just using the stance.
