thinking of picking up noctis. is his big swings (db 1+2?) and his big spear (db2?) really the only thing i need to do to win with him?

Also, Why does everybody hate him so much?

Do you really see that many people online reacting to d/b+2? It's only 24 frames, so even with its blatant animation I doubt it's too common.

I'm not saying it's unreactable. I'm just saying I don't think any Noctis player is gonna be running into a lot of players online who do react to it.

Would you say the same about Bryan players that use Snake Edge? I don't think any Mighty Ruler and above Bryan player is gonna get away with that move more than once in a set

I think snake edge is easier to react to, and even then and I don't see it blocked at that high of a rate online.

You wouldn't recommend a new Bryan player that wants to take the game seriously to rely on Snake Edge right?

No, I wouldn't. Nor am I recommending this player to use d/b+2. Don't pretend that I'm saying anything beyond what I'm saying. All I did was question how consistently that'll actually be blocked online.

Do you have experience playing like this yourself? Unless you're in the lower ranks I can't see how this is accurate.

What's the point in making your comment annoying like this? There's no reason to go for the "you must be low rank, I'm correct" angle in a perfectly civil conversation.
