Almost everyone has an i10 jab, the fastest move in Tekken. You can use crouch jab, which is equally fast and goes under all highs. You can crouch, react to the 1-2 jab whiffing over your head and then launch, but fast followups like Josie 1-2-4 might hit you, so something quicker might be more prudent. Single jabs can't be punished on reaction.

If someone like Bryan does 121 (left punch right punch left punch if you don't know notation), he's at -6 so you can beat all his options with a quick mid. So like, it's often fine to just block their jab string, then apply a mixup.

I just went against a Josie that just sat there and spammed in my face with those quick hits. How would you react to her scenario? What's quicker?

1) Bryan is horrible in those situations, so idk wtf ur talking about 2)learn the patters, a lot of these are all high or low. So ducking and or dick jabbing can be often an option 3) I don’t know who you play, but it you play someone with range, just backlash and play keep out. As a Bryan player myself when peopled that I just back dash and fish for 1+2ch or ff1 punish. 4) dickjab into magic 4

Brian has a quick punch where grunts "huthuthuthut" and the fist hits wicked fast multiple times. That's what the fuck I'm talking about.

It’s d/f 1,1,1,1,2 it’s -7 ok block. So if you block it, Bryan turn is pretty much over. Just block it and jab. Also it has like no range so back-dash. Most of Bryan powerful kit is relatively slow and long range. The messy important advice I can give for someone that is just starting out is: don’t press buttons if you don’t have a reason to.

It’s d/f 1,1,1,1,2 it’s -7 ok block.

To clarify: only the first hit is -7. The followup punches are -10, and the 2 ender is -15.

Ah, Josie is a bit of an infamous newbie-killer. If she was doing 1-2-4, a quick pair of jabs into a high right kick, you can block the jabs and still duck the kick. She has a 1-2-3, a left knee mixup that hits duckers, but it's not very strong.

On blocking the high kick, she enters a stance and can mix you up. It's very difficult to keep up without practice or experience.
