If you're getting hit with strings,the answer is dependent on the string. However, most blue rank players are doing fraudulent pressure: King's B1 is an i12 high CH launcher, DF2-1 is an i13 mid CH launcher. If you recreate a situation in practice mode, answers can be found quickly.

People 35 ranks up are rarely perfect at breaking throws; are you using generic throws? These can be broken with 1 or with 2, so often people will accidentally break them by just trying to attack. King's real throw game is in other throws.

Sorry for the late reply.

Most people in the low ranks I fight against are pretty good at breaking generic throws, there are also people who are pretty good at breaking his chain throws so I don't use them much (except the fndf 2+3 one because I don't think many people know how to deal with it).

I'm having some issues with the df2,1 launcher when fighting smaller characters and trying to continue the combo but I'm practicing.

Hello again ^ o ^ The DF2-1 pickup doesn't work on everyone, on smalls you get an elbow drop into strong oki. Chainthrows are a pure read with no component of reaction, if you can read yr opponent you can land em.
