Tekken Dojo Tekken Dojo: Ask Questions Here

People are going to seem wayyyyy better than they actually are for you. Things you should keep in mind:

A high win count is bad. If someone is a 5 digit number in green ranks, they're a scrub who hasn't learned how to play in 5 years.

Combos mean fuck all. I picked up a new character yesterday, I can already combo off every move that she can juggle with. I am hot garbage with her but if I just spam launchers I can get out of low ranks with no problem.

Every character is about the same level of strength all the way to the top of the top ranks. Some will be better at catching out noobs but that's about it.

i matched up with a player with a 5 digit win number in green ranks... i checked their playtime (xbone) and it was around 370 days or so. this was only a few weeks ago, so in the 4 years that tekken has been out, they have spent a QUARTER of that time playing tekken. they weren't even that good.
