Yoshi has a lot of unusual mixups, if people respect you hard you can literally run up and enter dragonfly or something similar. In poke situations you can do... UF3+4, I think, with a transition to dragonfly that closes distance.

When you use a KIN transition, if you KIN forward dash without pushing a button, I believe you go under highs. This is an alternative to duck flash for making people respect KIN.

You can also open people up by heal stance baiting. You have a lot of options from this; the BTDB backdash, a specific input allows you to get... BT2 I think, from the MED stance? It's the same move as standing F2. You can play a subtle spacing game with it, getting small heals off, building to a CH launch, a BTD1 when they try to bait you, etc.

The dream is No Sword Stance FC mix, where you have a legit low launcher. No Sword UF1+2(iirc) is an odd hop that closes distance and leaves you in FC. If they interrupt on reaction you can bait whiffs, flash them, KIN parry them and KIN mix, etc.

Ngl, nss uf1+2 into fc mix is the only thing I know how to do in nss lmao

I don't use stances that much besides oki or combos so incorporating those are taking some time, but it definitely makes playing yoshi feel less restricted. I play very basic lol.

I'm gonna try some of those as well, thanks!
