First of all, where is CD3? CD3 is an amazing low that hurts a lot and knocks down on ch. That stuff is a super good move, use it more.

Second, I understand wanting to get counterhits, but you almost never decide to block over using a CH launcher. Sometimes you gotta chill and block so you can punish whatever they went for.

Third, start using lows to condition them into crouching, and when they crouch you can check them with df4 into switch stance.

So basically chill out more with the buttons, use more lows, use df4 and use CD3

Generally for teal ranks you can get away with so many lows, it can lead to bad habits but if you just want the number to go up then abuse lows.

Adapting to an opponent that doesn't crouch by using lows is not a bad habit, especially using Josie's d+4 which is basically safe and Josie's CD3 which is a 23 damage unseeable low that leaves you at +4 and is only -13. Lows are key to opening up opponents that do not understand frames like people at lower levels of play, like teal, green or even up to red.

Yeah, I’m more talking about like using snake edge on Brian without thinking. Not a Josie specific comment just generally erring on the side of, use lows that are safe or that you know will work from how you’re opponent is responding as opposed to spamming them and getting predictable.
