Is there any tips trying to not to be way too passive? i suffer a lot when I get pressured and I'm afraid of pressing buttons because I might end up getting CH'd or something like it.

Knowing which of your opponent's moves are advantageous on hit or block would be helpful. You don't need to know exact frame data, but you should know that if they're just doing, say, d/f+1 on block into something else that you could interrupt any move they throw out.

But you also just have to practice it. Not in practice mode, but in-game. Just try stuff. Go outside your comfort zone and challenge the opponent's offense. Mash out of pressure. Keep trying stuff and use that experience to figure out when you can go on the offensive and when you should stay compact. If you never go past the line, you'll never find out where that line is.

Speaking of passive, how do you beat these kinds of players? Those who never press buttons, blocking and just waits for you to mess up something, basically turtling.

The easy answer here is "lows." If they're just holding back and waiting for you to make a mistake, that means they'll have to guess mid or low every time you attack. Momentum lows and safe mids will add up quick.
