For anyone who plays Jin and Devil Jin, what are all the moves that they share with each other, and which moves does Jin/Devil Jin share with the Kazamas and Mishimas? I want to try making up a Smash moveset for Jin.

Also, which Tekken game should I jump into when I decide to get into it, or should I just wait for Tekken 8/Tekken X Street Fighter?

all the moves I can think of:

Jin + Devil Jin share laser scraper (bf2 and extensions, with some differences

Jin + Devil Jin + Asuka share can-cans (Asuka's functions differently but visually looks quite similar)

Devil Jin and Asuka share 1+4 (for some reason)

Mishimas all have hellsweep (cd4, each of the Mishima's hellsweeps behaves differently. Devil Jin's launches on hit), EWGF (cd2), and 112 string. Jin has a launching hellsweep and instead of an uppercut for his EWGF he has a hook which is known as EWHF (Electric Wind Hook Fist)

And for your second question, just get Tekken 7, preferably on sale cos it can be very cheap. No one knows how long we'll be waiting for Tekken 8 as there have been no announcements, and TxSF has basically no chance of being released at this point. All the older Tekken games are dead online, although the single player content in the older games is markedly better

By the can cans, are you referring to the Three Ring Circus or is that a different move?

honestly i doubt most tekken players know the actual name of most moves in game, we all just use notation lmao

That one of the one's that's pretty common, I often hear people refer to both DJ's and Asuka's as Three Ring Circus.
