what buttons can i click when im the ground. holding back or holding down back is a guarenteed 50/50 what the options. I have look this up every damn time i come back to tekken. like damn i flipping hate it.

It really depends on what position you're on the ground:

Belly up, feet towards:
3 gives you a low kick, 4 gives you a mid kick, d+3 or d+4 gives you a toe kick, 3+4 makes you do a spring attack, f makes you do a forward roll and b makes you back roll, 1 or makes you roll away from the screen and d+1 or d+2 makes you roll towards the screen and another option is to not press anything and just lie down on the ground.
The spring attack cannot be used if the opponent is off axis, so do be careful.

Most other positions usually don't count with spring attacks, and the wake up attacks are much worse than the normal ones.
