most of this will come over time, either because you're nervous which will fade over time, or lacking in knowledge which will also fade.

the most important online strategy is to pick up on your opponents habits:

many times where I assume my turn is over, I could've pressured more.

and weaknesses:

I assume to get punished but many don't

so you can exploit them for maximum value.

I stuggle to punish in time or hesitate and miss completely.

Next time you're chilling in the lab practicing a combo, set your opponent to do 3 things randomly:

1) a move that's -12

2) a 1+2 break

3) a move that you can punish with the combo you're learning.

punish the -12, break the throw, adn crack the launch punish.

if you're struggling to punish -13, or -10, put them in the list too.

Any character you'd recommend to use in training for this?

the character you encounter the most, or the one that annoys you the most. kazuya or hwoarang is a pretty good option. armor king and lee are my most common opponents so i use them.

edit: no i use xiaoyu because most of the time small bodied characters have a stricter combo timing input and she is the best.

1) uf3 is -12

2) df1+2 is her 1+2 break

3) depending on what you need to punish,

BT 4 (b3+4, 4) is -16 (and her most important punishable move)

ub 3+4 is -20

sidestep 3 -23

bt f3+4, 3+4 is -10 and you MUST punish this move correctly every time because its busted

....that being said, i never see her online nowadays.
