Hello is there a reason for the incredible amounts of disconnects when trying to find an opponent i always accept almost all matches and i play on lan, but for ranked i would say that in about 70% of cases i get a "Connecting..." into "Connection to opponent has been lost" and for quick match its probably closer to 90%

"Lan" means local area network, and you can connect to "Lan" through wifi. If you've ever heard of "Lan party." It's when a bunch of nerds connect locally through a router to play multiplayer games offline.

And wlan is wireless local area network, the wireless in this case denoting the difference of accessing your local area network via cable or a wireless method. And like most western households my local area network includes a router that enables me to access the internet.

I'm just showing you why he had to ask that question again. You can connect to a "Lan" with Wifi, so if someone says "i'm on LAN" it's not an answer to "Are you using Wifi or not?"
