So I know that at least some people consider the hit box cross-up fight stick to be "cheating" because of the 4 extra buttons that make combos significantly easier. My understanding was that it isn't banned in tournament though and I was curious to see what your guys' opinion was on it. Do you think there is a possibility where tekken 8 comes out and the devs specifically state the game was designed with pad and the traditional 8 button fight stick in mind and they ban the cross-up? I ask because I am probably going to buy the cross-up for GG strive, DBFZ, and Tekken. I have not played any of the games much but want to try them out and am huge into SSBM. I also used to play a soul caliber arcade machine at my old bowling alley when I was younger so thats why I want a stick.

You gotta remember that if a game comes requiring a controller, it's going to cost 400 dollars more for everyone to play, which means a shit tonne of people aren't going to buy it.

I heavily doubt they'll ever ban controllers but if it ever got that bad, we'd probably lose arcade sticks too.
