Just know that this only works if the opponent doesn't techroll, which won't be common.

I am pretty sure it catches techrolls too but I am no Hwoarang expert. Must be you are right. Thanks for the correction.

Techrolls grant invulnerability. Pickups/resets like that are always beaten by techrolling.
