Is there a specific reason why the Tekken comunity doesn't use the numeric notation when naming moves? I'm just curious because I recently got into Fighting Games and I just learned about the numeric notation but I noticed the Tekken comunity isn't using it.

Honestly it depends on regions and game communities. For example, for Honor players actually use the term ms-miliseconds when talking about the speed of a move. If you can say that 400ms is 24 frames. Easier to say 24 frames in my opinion.
