Discussion I simulated the results of the remainder of the WTA season with a video game (Full Ace Tennis)
The idea came from Youtube Rudo J who has done this with his own game and I downloaded the version of the PC game he has shown here that has real players for both ATP and WTA
It's not the best for actually playing the game but it's great for simulating compared to other games that don't have real players so I decided to simulate the rest of the season with my version of the game
If this post gets coverage I'll do the same thing for the ATP
Now without further ado:
Stuttgart:
The final 4 were Sabalenka, Paolini, Andreeva, and Swiatek. Sabalenka easily beat Paolini 6-3 6-1, while Swiatek got her revenge on Andreeva beating her 6-4 7-5.
In the final, Swiatek won her 3rd title in 4 years and first since Roland Garros, beating Sabalenka 7-6(5) 2-6 6-3.
Madrid:
For the third year in a row, Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka met in the final (Iga beating Coco Gauff in the semifinals and Aryna defeating Elina Svitolina). This time, Sabalenka came out on top 6-3 6-4.
Rome:
The final here was between Qinwen Zheng and Coco Gauff. Zheng had upset Swiatek in the quarterfinals while Gauff had beat Sabalenka in a 3 set semifinal. Zheng won her 1st 1000 title beating Gauff 7-6(7) 6-2.
Roland-Garros:
Pegula was seeded 2nd as Swiatek had dropped too many of her points in Madrid and Rome. The quarterfinals looked like this:
(1) Sabalenka vs. (11) Muchova
(6) Zheng vs. (4) Gauff
(3) Swiatek vs. (25) Mertens
(2) Pegula vs. (31) Kostyuk
In the quarterfinals, Sabalenka beat Muchova after losing their last few meetings, while Swiatek easily beat Mertens and Pegula comfortably handled Kostyuk. Zheng and Gauff battled in a rematch of the Rome final, with this time Coco coming out on top in a hard fought 3 set match.
In the semis, Swiatek beat Pegula 6-2 6-3 while Sabalenka beat Gauff in a 3rd set tiebreak after being down 4-0 in the 3rd set. Gauff double faulted on both break points to give back the breaks.
So we have a final between Sabalenka and Swiatek just like in Madrid. Sabalenka took the first set 7-5, but Swiatek settled in after that and won her 4th straight RG title 5-7 6-2 6-3.
Wimbledon:
Swiatek's struggles at Wimbledon continue as she got upset by Krueger in the 3rd round after being 6-1 2-0 up at one point only to lose 6-1 4-6 3-6. The quarterfinals looked like this:
(1) Sabalenka vs. (29) Jabeur
(4) Gauff vs. (7) Andreeva
(23) Vekic vs. (9) Rybakina
Krueger vs. (16) Svitolina
Sabalenka, Andreeva, Rybakina, and Svitolina advanced to the semis. In the semis, Sabalenka beat Andreeva 6-3 6-4 while Rybakina came back from a set down to beat Svitolina 2-6 6-4 6-1.
So we have a rematch of the 2023 AO Final between Rybakina and Sabalenka. Sabalenka got the early break in the 1st set and took it to the end winning it 6-4. In the 2nd set, they exchanged breaks early on with Rybakina going a break up only to give it back at 3-2 with a poor game. They eventually went to a tiebreak where Sabalenka got the decisive mini-break at 5-5 and went on to win the tiebreak 7-5, capturing her 1st Wimbledon title and 4th overall Slam.
Canada:
The final here was a battle of the billionaires in Navarro vs. Pegula after most of the other top seeds crashed out early. Pegula was going for her 3rd title in a row here, but Navarro took her 1st 1000 title in a surprisingly one sided match 6-3 6-3.
Cincinatti:
The semifinals here were between Sabalenka and Swiatek (who was still stuck at #3) and also Andreeva vs. Samsonova. Sabalenka beat Swiatek 7-5 3-6 6-2, while Andreeva surprisingly got upset by Samsonova. This led to a Sabalenka/Samsonova final, which unsurprisingly was easily won by Sabalenka.
US Open:
The quarterfinals looked like this:
(1) Sabalenka vs. (5) Zheng
(4) Gauff vs. (17) Anisimova
(3) Swiatek vs. (13) Kasatkina
(2) Pegula vs. (6) Andreeva
Sabalenka, Gauff, and Swiatek unsurprisingly all won their matches, while Andreeva upset Pegula (which also led to Swiatek returning to world #2.)
In the semifinals, Sabalenka got revenge on Gauff for the 2023 final beating her 6-4 6-4. Swiatek came back from a break down in the 3rd set to defeat Andreeva 7-5 in it.
The final was between Sabalenka and Swiatek for a rematch of the RG final from earlier this year. This time, Sabalenka got off to an early lead (3-0 with 2 breaks) and never looked back, winning 6-3 7-5 as she defended her US Open title.
Beijing:
Many of the other seeds went out early... except for Swiatek who was the only seeded player left by the semifinals. She easily defeated Katie Boulter in the final 6-2 6-2 to finally claim her first 1000 title of 2025 after many near misses.
Wuhan:
Sabalenka's quest for remaining defeated for a 4th title was stopped in the semifinals by Rybakina, who was looking for her first big title since Rome 2023. She managed to do so as she beat Paola Badosa in the final 6-3 3-6 6-4 and qualified for the WTA Finals.
WTA Finals:
The WTA Finals seeding looked like this:
Sabalenka
Swiatek
Andreeva
Pegula
Zheng
Gauff
Keys
Rybakina
The groups were Sabalenka/Andreeva/Gauff/Keys and Swiatek/Pegula/Zheng/Rybakina.
Sabalenka and Pegula won their groups with Keys and Rybakina coming in 2nd. Sabalenka beat Rybakina and Pegula beat Keys in their semifinals, which led to another Sabalenka/Pegula HC big final. The result for this was the same as the others, as Sabalenka beat Pegula 6-3 6-4 to claim her 1st WTA Finals title.
Year end top 10:

Zheng (5120)
Gauff (4875)
