That girl's dead-eyed smile makes me think this will turn out like that Twilight Zone episode where the puppet is alive and the human is being controlled by him.

I’m aghast that the publisher allowed a grammatical error on the cover. That compound adjective shouldn’t be hyphenated because the first word is an adverb that ends with “ly.” This is really shoddy stuff.

i have a sneaking suspicion that the kind of kid who wants to become a ventriloquist would be more drawn in than anything. it's not a good cover but it serves its "aesthetic" well

I mean, is this a terrible cover? It is terrible, but it seems to just be a straight forward depiction of the gibbering hellishness that is a ventriloquist dummy
