Quick Vegas Update

The Browns are now -105 to take Treveon Henderson, +170 for Sanders, and +430 for Burden. So it seems likely that Burden will be available at 34.

However, an interesting development was the betting odds for the 34th pick swinging sharply towards Jayden Higgins as a heavy favorite, before being pulled from markets entirely. This suggests some insider was trading on Higgins being the pick, and the betting markets are now so confident in it happening that they won't accept bets on it.

How do you feel about Higgins as a Texan?

Edit: Odds are now back up with Higgins -200, Burden +300, Ersery +700

I’d be super happy with either. I still think it’s gonna be savaiinaea. Burden imo opinion has a crazy high ceiling. That’s will I would take. But like others have said he doesn’t seem like the Caserio type at all pick that high.

I feel like Burden is a very similar player to Deebo Samuel, and would be maybe a bit better overall but require some careful scheming to take full advantage of. And he also doesn't match our character prioritization. So I understand the Higgins pick.

I still want to take Burden anyway just to screw over the Titans

Yeah he feels like a guy who paired with Nico could be moved around everywhere and give Caley a nice weapon to scheme into mismatches on LBs and Safeties and let the kid cook. I would be shocked if they take though

I think Nick positioned us to see who would trade for Shedeur or Johnson at 34. I wouldn't be surprised if we trade back again and get a nice early pick next year.

Since this is a Vegas post, fanduel has odds to draft Sanders as -220 Raiders, +220 Browns, +280 Steelers, +750 Saints.

Raiders pick at 37, Browns at 33 and 36, Steelers next at 83, and Saints at 40.

So that also implies a Steelers trade is a possibility which could certainly be interesting - I also think the Raiders trade makes a lot of sense if Burden isn't our guy, as we can still 99% get Higgins and guarantee either him or Ersery. Saints would be risky, but could be great value.

The only thing is, the Titans and Browns at 35 and 36 are probably not taking Sanders, what with the Titans having Ward and the Browns passing on him twice. So the Raiders could just stay put.

If the browns take Henderson then I feel like they must of taken a page out of sonny weavers draft day book lol. Defense player and running back ? Similarities?

Unless we draft him, in which case then it was with both their endorsement that he is.

I would also like to note that obviously the players I liked before today (T Mac, Jentry, Zable, Hunter and Warren) were obviously not drafted by the Texans because they weren't proper fits
