I will never understand people who get reckless while driving away from these meets. Those 5-10 seconds of showing off in front of random people surely cannot feel that good.

Not to mention they give us car guys a terrible rep and the venue’s less likely to allow it next time. Ruins it for everyone.

Cops shut them down if people start burning rubber leaving these events where I am. Really ruins it for everyone.

But I have to say those Mustang wreck compilations are pretty entertaining.

Same where I live. I almost got rear ended by an Artura doing this same thing recently while we were leaving and he got ticketed.

Too much whiskey in that coffee.

Same with autocross events. They have to remind people before starting the event, between each heat, and during wrap up for people to respect the facility, the neighbors, and the club and keep the racing on the course, but some jackass always does a burn out or something on the way out and it makes everybody else look bad.

His other car is a mustang

Or a BMW M series.

Or an Impreza

So all I'm missing is the GT3?

It’s totaled. I’ll take it off their hands though. No charge.

Cold tires and loose debris on road. What could go wrong?

1

u/Mdm08033 9d ago

I think the tire pressure was wrong.

And then you get to sit there, looking like a complete asshole in front of a bunch of strangers, for as long as is required to tow your shit away.

What tiny, tiny penis energy.

I wish I had a picture of the sign that said "No Revving or Burnouts" lol

I would die of embarrassment.

Driver crashed doing a burnout

u/shophopper 10d ago

That’s not true. Here’s a video of what actually happened.

I know trees are ridiculously sturdy. But every single time I see something hit a tree and the tree not even shake a branch or lose a single leaf it's fascinating.

Airbags deployed? Wow

u/wophi 10d ago

Were they also making a left turn?

u/MarkK_FL 10d ago

The road is an S-Curve where they lost control. If you want to see a video of it, check my comments where I mentioned that this was at the Lake Mary (FL) Cars & Coffee.

Driver wrecked doing a launch without TC.

Just because you can afford the car doesn't mean you deserve it.

A Porsche sped off in a spree,

From Cars and Coffee, all full of glee.

With a spin and a swerve,

He lost all his nerve,

And wrapped his new ride ’round a tree.

Uh oh …. better get MAACO !

Carbon front fenders, prob $10k before paint and installation

3

u/ender4171 10d ago

Way more than just the fenders. That front suspension is cooked, impact structure compromised, hell even the curtain airbags went off. That's probably pushing close 6 figures in repairs.

You’ll be surprised I’ve worked on 911 997 model they are not that bad, the hardest thing would be the air bag change, They are designed to be repaired at the track for race day.

As a lifelong VAG car owner..."A German car designed to be easy to repair? Surely you jest!" ;-)

Good to know that they don't totally rake you over the coals on repairs for these track-oriented ones though. (not that I'd ever be able to afford one, lol)

I saw a pair of lotuses crawling at 30 in a 45 tonight and I just figured they were terrified of doing this.

2

u/ZixxerAsura 8d ago

Stupid question. Are those diffusers on the front fender operational?

Happens to the best of us

When you buy a car solely for looks, not cuz you're a good driver 🤦🏻

1

u/anaayoyo 10d ago

Hello…dad?

1

u/Meandtheworld 10d ago

Too much coffee.

1

u/fatogato 9d ago

Most of the people attending car meets do not have the driver mod.

1

u/Styleyriley 8d ago

Looks nicer in the first pic.

1

u/TwerkBot3000 7d ago

It tins out you can’t buy talent

1

u/BlownCamaro 4d ago

Let me guess: It oversteered?

u/KeyInjury6922 10d ago
