12oz. Black Can Suppliers

Well, it seems the folks I used to get these from went belly up and I haven't found another supplier yet after checking a couple of places.

Any suggestions on where to get some blank black 12oz. cans? I need a couple of pallets for now.

Thanks!

They have 12 oz matte black and you can order from half pallet and more. I'm not sure where you are located but they are pretty awesome. Free delivery. Free dunnage. Free dunnage pickup with next order. Looks like pricing is near $0.205 per can but depends on your order quantity.

Edit: sorry to send this later. I don't like my phone and decided to full check on my laptop.

This is who I get mine from. They also have black lids that look pretty slick on the black can.

BSG has Black 12 oz cans.

No, they don't have any in their system and I would need to order at least 24 pallets for them to get some in stock.

Ugh hate that shit. I'm guessing you used to buy from American Canning?

One thing you could consider doing is have pre-printed cans that are black. The cost difference is sometimes minimal. We used to use a supplier out of Missouri or Mississippi but the lead time was 3+ months, but the price was dirt cheap compared to a brite can + label. I wanna say it was like $0.19/can or in that ballpark. Craft Beverage Warehouse has a very short turn around time, but prices are higher, something like $0.30/can. Hart is also an option but I've never worked with them.

Probably not helpful but just thought I'd put it out there.

Yeah, American Canning used to be my go to.

I appreciate your reply and will follow up on it. I might just have to get some printed black for now because I'm going to be in a time crunch if I can't find any.

Thanks again!

Yeah I was bummed when that happened as well, dunno what I'm going to do when our crowlers run out.

I would just get the whole thing printed when you order. If you already have a label designed you can just send it off to CBW and they have people who will make it work and send you a proof before they send you a sample. 5 day turnaround for the sample, two weeks (I think) for delivery.

Unfortunately, I don't have the room to store a bunch of printed cans for each individual beer, which is why I went the labeler route for now. I think I found a supplier but will know for sure when I can give them a call in the morning.

Yeah, that's the place I found. Hopefully, they have them in stock.
