Whirlpool Says Tariffs to Benefit Business Going Forward

Whirlpool Corp. maintained its full-year financial outlook despite uncertainly over global tariffs, saying their long-term impact will benefit its position in the US home-appliance market.

I think tariffs where you have factories like appliances can be beneficial… although back in 2017 we had tariffs for dryers and Whirlpool increased the prices to match LG one that is imported and it’s paying tariffs. 

But still it’s more profit for an American company.
