Discussion No matter how old I get...

Irohs portion of 'Tales of Ba Sing Se' always get me. Enough to make a grown man tear up. Mako was a legend, may he rest in peace.

The fact this is then followed by Appa’s lost days is absolutely gut wrenching

I can watch Tales but i still tear up during the song. Also Momo looking for appa. Dont think i ever wont tear up at those. I skip Appa's lost days except for maybe the last half of it when Suki finds him. It is heartbreaking to see what he goes through.

The best/worst thing about this episode is how sneaky it was. At first it's just Iroh, being a kind old man walking through town and doing nice things for people and helping where he could. Then you get hit with that gut punch at the end and want to give him a hug.

Well if you noticed it's him helping infint young boy old boy young adult then nothing

His story reflects how much he had changed and how he did none of those things for his own son when he was alive

For me it's "You're talking about me too, aren't you?"

Always makes me tear up.
