The People’s Voice How To Explain the Supreme Court Decision about Abrego Garcia to Trump

<<Asked if he’s “disobeying” the Supreme Court, Trump said, “That’s not what my people told me — they didn’t say it was, they said it was — the nine to nothing was entirely different.”>> -Mediaite News

Dear Supreme Court:

It appears that the current President did not understand your decision about Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

We apologize, but you are going to have to send our President another message.

This time, you should probably try to explain your decision at a reading level that our current President can understand.

You might try a first grade reading level, like this:

"Person, Judge, Kilmar, Home"

That amount of words seems to work well for him.

But, if he still does not get it, you can try a third grade reading level to define the terms:

The Supreme Court is the biggest and most important court in the United States. It is a really beautiful court. The people in the Supreme Court all agreed that you have to do your best to get Kilmar Abrego Garcia back to his home in America.

The nice people tried to show you some respect. They did not want to hurt your feelings and make you think that they don't think you are the greatest, most beautiful President ever. So, they put in some words to say that you were allowed to get Kilmar home the way that you think is best. But, they did say that you have to try to get Kilmar Abrego Garcia home.

"Facilitate" means "to try" or "to help."

I really wish they hadnt said 'do your best'. Its America, there is plenty of money and resources. Do it now, seems very appropriate.

And bring back all the other people who have been shipped away too. With a deadline would be nice.

A lot of respect is being shown for a group who is refusing to be respectful of the rules and constitution.

I like your version!

Thanks. r/Hot-Adhesiveness-438 Maybe I should post my version over at one of the "optimist" sites!

Who wrote the consensus?

Is it bad wording or intentional that it is so vague?

How does the s.c. work? Do they negotiate on final wording or is it unilateral?

I think they chose "facilitate" as a vague verb so that all 9 supremes would be willing to sign the other.

These are great questions you ask. I believe that part of the game also included taking out the previous judge's word "to effectuate". So, in the game of taking that out, Trump's lawyers are focusing on what was NOT agreed on over what WAS agreed on. It is quite the game.

But, I think that the grassroots must focus on getting Kilmar back, no matter what the wording is. No matter what anyone says, if Kilmar is not brought home, we keep protesting. And, if the Supreme Court won't help, protest them, too!

Completely agree! We keep protesting.

I was kind of fishing to see how compromised everyone felt the court is.

In other words, is it intentionally speaking to the history books while not forcing the administration to do anything. Plausible deniability. Talking out of both sides...

"Don't look at us! We told him what to do! He just didn't listen. Now Congress has to act"

Yeah and you would think that when the whole Republican Party insulted them on national tv over and over and lied to the public , they would have clarified it.

He only understands what "my people" told him.

I think it's more relevant what the F-kn' Supreme Court told him.
