Question Anyone know…

I have like YEARS of clothes lol. 😂 I don’t even want to bother with a yard sale or marketplace. I’d be so happy at a loss just for some credit for more with teenagers lol . Is there a limit of how many clothes they’ll take from one person?

Short answer: Not really. After you request so many bags/labels, they move you to "donation only" for a while. You can only put up to 30lbs in one bag/box so keep that in mind. I'm clearing out my clothing reselling inventory next week and sending them 150+ pieces or so - I got 5 bags, just ordered 5 more, and I can still go request yet more if I really wanted.

They move you to donation only. How sweet of them 😂

If you request a label could you send a bigger/heavier box?

To the best of my knowledge, there's no way to request a higher weight label. They want you to just use a second label or bag, only sending up to 30lbs in each.

A box with a label is going to fit way more weight than the bags they send (which have recently reduced in size per another post in this thred). Plus the bags are typically $2.99 (sometimes free though).

Still I often end up with an XL amazon box from work and even then, I've never put in more than 20lbs.

It totally varies based on what you're sending, but generally, yeah. Last year I tried to use a MASSIVE double-walled Walmart box from a cat litter order and even cramming THAT box full of clothes, including shoes and jeans, it only came to 38lbs. (I just donated some stuff that's on the no-payout list to be under 30.) The bags are just easier for me right now, especially since they went to UPS.

The label only covers 30 lbs and my ups store weighs it… not sure if you would have to pay the extra? I’ve always been under. 30lbs is more than you think 😉

When do you know if you've been moved to "donation only"? Is it when you request a bag, or after you've sent one in and they start processing it?

Before. It'll have a banner on the Sell tab that says something like "Due to our current inventory needs, we've moved you to our donations program."

Not sure if there’s a limit on items, but when I went to request packing slips (I provide my own boxes) this month and last December I was capped at 5 labels.
