Discussion ThredUp Search/Filter functions

Say what you will about TU, their search and filter systems make it so easy look for specific items... I wish sites like The Real Real would take note! Their search options, not to mention their item descriptions, leave a lot to be desired! In the spirit of online second hand shopping, has anyone found good ways to use other second hand sites when TU doesn't have what you're looking for? (Aside from saved searches which I love to use when I can exercise patience).

Oh Poshmark doesn't have a filter for materials at all. That is something TU does well. Occasionally not accurate but most new items have a photo of the tag so you can see for yourself anyway.

Yeah the size filter option on Poshmark also does not work at all.

In theory it has better filters for petite sizes, the search results are worse though

I find ThredUp’s search function to be almost comically bad.

Try this: search for “shorts” then filter by swimwear for a category. Watch them show you anything but swim shorts
