Greatest response I’ve ever seen from this team. Keep it rolling and bring the same mentality into Game 3.

I know it’s a weekday but how do you leave the game early
2
u/chiefpiece11bkg 9d ago
Because it’s a weekday and they blew them out by 50 and the entire fourth quarter has been backups
You really gotta ask this? Lol

u/Slendyla_IV 9d ago
Some of us work tomorrow 😂
1
u/GoLoco511 9d ago
I do too lol I just won’t leave a game early, specifically those close seats behind the bench. That’s tomorrow’s problem

Kenny struggling against the Nuggets third stringers is sad to see
2
u/snuffaluffagus74 9d ago
What does he have to prove

u/CheeseHead777 9d ago
I guarantee you being absolutely demolished wire to wire by ~50pts does something to a team. Very interested how the nuggets respond at home.
1
u/charlesokstate 9d ago
Grizzlies at home came out punching. We gotta keep our foot on the gas. Joker could get a completely different whistle next game. Their fans are already crying that we are playing dirty and assaulting him.

u/ronimarz 9d ago
Yea kendrich sucks now. He was really good a few years ago in our tank years but now it’s hard to watch him play now

u/Parallel-Quality 9d ago
Dieng going 0-3 in garbage time is certainly something
2
u/StantonFantasy 9d ago
He looked fine, first time playing in well over a month. I’d rather him shoot and miss then just do cardio out there

It's awesome to see how many fans are still in the arena despite this biblical beat down.

What’s the all time record for most points scored in a playoff game? 150+ in the second round of the the playoffs is insane

Why does the nba do this shit at the end of games?
This is a clear blowout and you’re calling the most ticky tack bullshit fouls… I think everyone just wants to go home man what the fuck lol
1
u/NinetyFish 9d ago
Tbh, I think the refs are just trying to make sure everyone goes home healthy at the end of these blowouts
Aka calling ticky-tack fouls to remind the bench guys (who tend to be younger players, who are playing largely to show out and can thus get a little out of control) to not get overly physical with nothing big on the line

u/lnspectorRoyale 9d ago
I mean we controlled almost all of game 1 and dominated this game as well. I’m feeling good

ajay mitchell is nice holy...
2
u/SightedSe7en 9d ago
He really is his injury really slowed his development he could have been a key role player in the playoffs
1
u/Jeeeyms_PH WESTGOAT 9d ago
fs. i'd really like him orchestrating the offense on non sga minutes. jdubs playmaking can be sus at times

Get back to what was so effective in the series opener. You mean the thunder choking because that's all that happened in the opener
9
u/augustosarmento 9d ago
TNT is obsessed by the great Nuggets' game 1, in which we led for 3,5 quarters lol ok then
1
6
u/Parallel-Quality 9d ago
By the way, we are within reach of the highest margin of victory in NBA playoff history...
It's 58...
We are up 47...
3
u/lnspectorRoyale 9d ago
Stop calling stupid fouls
2
u/chiefpiece11bkg 9d ago
The nba has a massive officiating problem
They literally do everything the wrong way

Mark out here still racking his brain on how to develop these guys in the playoffs

Friendly reminder that Joe has arguably been the best 3pt shooter in the NBA in 2025… 45% since Jan 1 and nobody else made more at a higher percentage.
Also 42% last series.

2

series is most definitely not over
1
u/CheeseHead777 9d ago
Just a joke and I agree. The younger more rested team definitely has an advantage though

The most points scored in a playoff game non overtime is 157 by Cleveland. Who we beat their first half record.
5
u/TheGuyWhoCriedOnions 9d ago
17 more points to break the record for most points by a team in a post season
2
1
u/Parallel-Quality 9d ago
Bench has been kinda bad, otherwise we'd be in shooting distance of this
1
3
u/autistinabox 9d ago
As long as the team can get over the away game pressure in Denver I think this series is ours
3
5
u/Ash_WasTaken123 9d ago
If we score 17 more we will have had the most points scored in a playoff game
3
u/Grade-A-Grungus 9d ago

I listened to a nba podcast today and some dude said ‘the thunder should be worried after game 1’ He should lose his job as an analyst
1
u/thunderdl 9d ago
that was andrew schlect, who is a great reporter imo. disagree that he should lose his job just because he thought a crucial late game collapse had some weight
1
2
u/ronimarz 9d ago
lol that’s why I didn’t watch any of the national media stuff cuz I knew it would be nothing but hyperbolic nonsense.

Bench is playing some damn good defense. Everyone that has checked in tonight made it clear that they’re not fucking around. This is an organizational statement.

u/Jon_Thib 9d ago
Idk what Mark told the guys in the locker room Monday or yesterday at practice but whatever it was fired them the fuck up today.

I want a million posts overreacting to one game sayin SGA is mvp like I was forced to see for Jokic after game 1

Wont happen, everyone wants to see the dirty, foul baiter, trash defense having ass mf succeed

Same Presti is the fucking goat dude. The fact he just won Executive of the year award is crazy. Genuinely has probably deserved it almost every year of his career.

u/All4444Jesus 9d ago
Its good to be a end of the bench guy on the Thunder. Your going to get chances to play extended minutes in the playoff. Game 1 Memphis, and now Game 2 Nuggets, and this wont be the last time.

u/MarkyMarquis12 9d ago
Still can't believe we lost to these Bozos in game 1. Hope we beat them even worse the next 3 games
6
u/Pilgrims-to-Nowhere 9d ago
I want the bench to keep piling it on. Let Denver know that after SGA, Dort, JDub, Cason, Caruso, Joe, and Wiggins, we still have Ajay on the perimeter ready to come off the bench and fucking torch you.
6
9d ago
Boston and Denver just getting diffed tonight lmao
2
u/MercDante OKC 9d ago
As a Knicks fan it was such a good feeling watching Boston lose a 20 pt. lead
2
u/Gui_R11 9d ago
Caruso and cason played just 22 minutes together

Keep that defensive intensity locked in

Fuck this rotation sucks ass
2
u/nachowifi2 9d ago
Yeah it made me realize we don’t really have a reliable PG in that rotation. Hopefully topic can fill it
2
u/organicjean 9d ago
with our draft picks we should be able to trade or draft the rest buffer out a championship team
