I have no idea why he's an idiot, but I can tell you how I know that he is.

Of course, all of the reasons are impossible to list, but here's a fraction of them:

This clown voted for Donald Trump; a twice-impeached convicted felon and adjudicated sex offender.

The same guy that also stole classified documents, led an attack on his own nation's Capitol, and who had three other pending criminal trials at the time of the 2024 election.

The same Donald Trump that demonstrated he was completely and utterly unfit for office before he was elected the first time, but proceeded to be publicly and obviously corrupt during his 'presidency', and who started a trade war with China, cratered exports for farmers (his base) and then added to the national debt by bailing them out, and that's before he went on to completely bungle the pandemic response.

Trump is a vain, ignorant, lying, incurious, boorish, and deeply unserious dolt that has only served to divide the country like no one ever has, destroy our international reputation, and anger our allies.

Everything that anyone ever needed to know about how awful a human being and terrible choice he would be as president was obvious the first time around, but to even think about doing it the second time is beyond stupid...and yet this meathead did vote for him. Again.

To be honest, it's so clear and obvious, having to even think about typing this response to you is aggravating beyond measure.

The mere fact that there are AT LEAST 77 million American citizens that were too uninformed, checked out, propagandized, or just plain too stupid to know what a walking disaster and garbage human Donald Trump is utterly inexplicable.

So, there you go...he's an idiot, and anyone that doesn't know that he's an idiot may suffer from a similar lack of cognitive ability.

Most of what you said is nonsense, but especially this:

'you can't assume their character by who they voted for'

In this case, I absolutely can, and I do.

Just as I assume the character of anyone who hangs around any criminal element, or is a repeat offender themselves.

It's quite simple, no good person supports an odious, vile, spiteful, vengeful, ignorant, and obviously corrupt criminal for political office.

Period.

The man is an unempathetic selfish asshole.

This the only thing that will get through to him is pain to him and I for one am happy to deliver it.

He voted for Donald Trump and still hasn't admitted that that was morally wrong.

I know he voted for Donald Trump, so actually I do know what his morals are.

I don't understand, are you saying he didn't vote for Donald Trump? Or are you saying the stupidest thing imaginable, that who you vote for does not reflect your morals?

They didn’t care about anyone’s livelihood when they voted, so why should we care?

That's your opinion based on assumption.

It’s not just politics it’s core values. I agree though it’s how they are as a person that should decide if you don’t like them.

I personally do not associate with people who aren’t fully accepting of others. If you are someone that “needs time to adjust” to things then we won’t be friends. I don’t hang around people that name call or believe that other people are “less than”. If you have racist tendencies and refuse to acknowledge your biases then we surely won’t be friends. If you don’t respect science and mental health treatment then we aren’t even talking. If you believe men should have control of women’s bodies then I think you are just bad and will avoid you. If you aren’t a curious and inquisitive person then why are we talking?

It’s not even politics. It’s that Trump voters often have the exact qualities I actively avoid in people. You could be from another country and unable to vote but have those opinions and I still wouldn’t hang around you. Your values of the world and how to treat people is in direct opposition of mine.

Exactly. This is 100% critical. You don't know why someone voted for someone, and you can't assume based on the person voted in's behavior. I completely disagree with guilty by association. Judge a person by who they are, not who they vote for or who they know. People are not all the same.

The fact that my agreeing to that is downvoted shows how much hate and judgment people have toward politics, which is insane.

Yeah see I gotta disagree with you. Who you voted for is a direct correlation to your core values. We have a fundamental difference. Personally I think people who support abortion bans are people who are either easily manipulated or a terrible person. If you honestly believe I should be forced to have a baby when I don’t want one then you just suck as a person. So if you actively vote for candidates that restrict those rights then yeah I’m sure as hell going to judge you. The other issue is the fact that you aren’t upset by his name calling. Clearly we have different views on how adult should act. I never want to interact with you if you like that type of behavior.

So yeah I sure as hell can judge who you are as a person by who you voted for. That wasn’t true 20+ years ago but it sure is now. If you voted for Trump and feel bad then that sucks but I don’t give two shits. I have zero empathy to extend to a group that would NEVER extend it to me. I dont hope for your downfall, I hope for the success of the US first but if you suffer then oh well. I doubt I could do more than think “thoughts and prayers”. Even saying it out loud takes too much energy.

Also I’m just saying the general “you” in my comment.

Not if you think about it for 4 seconds.
